1. Moxibustion is a therapy that involves burning mugwort (Artemisia argyi) or its roots. The purpose of moxibustion is to warm and invigorate blood circulation, stimulate qi and blood flow, strengthen kidney yang, dispel wind and cold, and resolve blood stasis.
2. There are two types of moxibustion: direct and indirect. In direct moxibustion, a small amount of cone-shaped moxa stick is placed on the acupoint and burned. Using this technique, the patient will experience a pleasant heating sensation that penetrates deep into the skin.
3. Indirect moxibustion is a more popular form of treatment. In indirect moxibustion, the practitioner lights one end of the moxa stick and holds it close to the area being treated for several minutes until the area turns red. Historically, this therapy has been used to treat menstrual pain.

Product Details
It has the effects of warming and unblocking the meridians, dispelling cold and removing dampness, tonifying yang energy, and regulating qi and blood. It can help alleviate discomfort caused by stagnation of qi and blood stasis, cold-damp accumulation, imbalance between yin and yang, and deficiency of qi and blood. Moxibustion involves placing burning mugwort leaves or compressed strips of mugwort onto specific acupoints to apply heat, thereby achieving therapeutic and health-promoting effects.
1. Warming and unblocking the meridians: The heat from the moxa stick can penetrate into the meridians through acupoints, promoting the circulation of qi and blood and thus achieving the effect of warming and unblocking the meridians. This helps relieve pain symptoms caused by stagnation of qi and blood stasis, such as shoulder and neck pain and lower back pain.
2. Dispersing Cold and Removing Dampness: The warm stimulation from moxibustion sticks can help eliminate cold and dampness from the body, alleviating symptoms caused by these conditions, such as joint pain and muscle stiffness.
3. Nourishing Yang Qi: Mugwort has a warming effect on Yang Qi. By using moxa sticks for moxibustion, one can stimulate acupoints, enhance the body’s Yang Qi, and harmonize the balance between Yin and Yang. This approach can provide certain improvements for individuals with Yang Deficiency and cold-related symptoms.
